They did WHAT!- "Glee Gone Wild!"

The cast of Glee was featured in GQ's magazine, and the sexy pictures shot by well known photographer Terry Richardson has received a lot of attention. But is this good attention?
The Parents Television Council had something to say about the pictures and well, lets just say it wasn't too good. They released this statement about the GQ cover.

GQ’s sexy Glee cover has gone too far, The Parents Television Council says. In a statement released Wednesday, the group slams the November issue, which features Cory Monteith, 28, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele, both 24 — all of whom play highschoolers on the hit Fox show — wearing hardly any clothing.
“It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia,” the statement reads.
“By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction,” the statement concludes. “And it isn’t good for families.”
Even the Glee stars are surprised by the GQ shoot, titled “Glee Gone Wild!”
“I don’t know how they got me to do half the stuff I did” for the GQ shoot, said Michele. “But I was in really good shape this summer, so…”
Said Agron: “I’ve never been shot in so little clothing.”
GQ has yet to comment.

It's time for The A-List Consultation:

I never thought I would see the cast of one of my favorite shows almost naked on the front a GQ magazine. Yes I admit that I enjoy watching the show. But lets get to the point.
Although all three actors Cory, Lea and Dianna are all adults, this is distasteful based on the show that they represent. I definitely agree with what the PTC had to say about the situation. These photos went too far by showing too much skin of the actresses. This is a big "no no" when you are not only representing a show but when you are also representing yourself. These actors have to remember who their audience is and how they are perceived to that audience. Children look up to these actors and look to them as role models. This is inappropriate for these adult actors to be in a high school setting shooting provocative pictures. The Glee cast gets a D- for this move. Instead of promoting the show, the only thing that these pictures did was send out a horrible message to the youth. I think the shows PR department has a lot of cleaning up to do.

Miley's New Video - Too Sexy???

Miley Cyrus released her new music video today for the song ''Who Owns My Heart'' -- but is the video too provocative for the 17-year-old starlet?

Check out the video here:

Miley's new video has people wondering if the young star is becoming too sexy for her age.

Tim Winter, president of the Parents Television Council told TMZ, "It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one."
"It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything that she has done up to this point," says Winter. " Miley built her fame and fortune entirely on the backs of young girls, and it saddens us that she seems so eager to distance herself from that fan base so rapidly."
So, has Miley gone too sexy, too soon?

It's time for The A-List Consultation:

I have three words for Miley ... "SLOW YOUR ROLL!"
I'm sure we can all look back to when we were 17-years-old and remember all things we had gotten ourselves into but hello, we are not Miley Cryus. Miley needs some major image consulting to fix this issue.
First off, she needs to realize who her fan base is. Her fans consist of young girls who have been following her since her "Hannah Montana" days on Disney. These girls don't want to see Miley on a bed in her underwear singing to them, or in a club grinding on guys. She better be ready for a lot of negative feedback on this one.
RULE #47: Always know how the public perceives you.
Miley needs to realize that to most the public she is only Hannah Montana from Disney ... a 17-year-old girl who inspires girls of her generation. Shooting a video like this might start making people think she is becoming trashy instead of classy. If she is trying to target an older generation, then she needs to wait until her  Disney days are over.
Miley gets a D- for this move. She is going too fast for her age. For Miley to correct this negative image  she will need to do more research on who her fans really are.

Here we go again ...

Lindsay Lohan has done it yet again. Just days after she was released from jail, sources say Lohan plans on returning back to rehab to clean up her act ... and this time for good.

There has been no word on what rehab center Lohan plans to enter, and her check-in date is hush hush. However, a source close to the Parent Trap star has said that Lindsay is going into treatment for herself and not to put on an act to sway the judge or jury.

After being sentenced to 30 days in jail without bail  from failing a drug test, Lohan came to the decision  of entering rehab after she was bailed out of jail late Friday night.

Hopefully rehab will work out for the troubled starlet, but if not it's no surprise.

Lohans next probation hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22.

The A-List Consultation:

So, is anyone surprised Lindsay has decided to try rehab yet again. Although it might look good on a celebritys image when they admit themseleves into rehab, after pulling the same stunt over and over this causes the public not to believe in you.

This will be Lohan's third attempt at rehab and to the public it might look like a way just to get off easy with the court system. Lindsay needs to check into rehab and stay until she has fully recovered.

As an image consultant I would advise Lindsay that although her intentions might be honest, her third attempt at rehab is coming across as a big joke. The public wants to see her recover from her addiction for good and stop failing her drug test.

Everytime she fails a drug test or is seen out partying after she is released from jail has a negative affect on her and makes the public view her as just another rich celebrity getting off easily within the court system.

Lindsay needs to straighten up not only for her fans, friends and family, but also for the future of her career, and if she doesn't then her career looks like it is headed in the direction of failure.

YAY for Kanye!

Last year around this time the news surrounding Kanye West was about his on stage rant that was made during Taylor Swifts acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs. Looks like this time around he is preparing not to make the same mistake as he did last year.

If you are a "Tweeter" then you might have seen some of the hip-hoppers tweets during his nearly 3 hour tweet bender on Saturday morning. In 140 characters, West released  an apology to Swift for ruining her on stage moment and for stealing the spot light.

"I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," said West. "If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."

West then opened up to his "followers" about his hard knock life in the publics eye and the bad affect that came from his now embrassing interuption of Swift at the 2009 VMAs. "She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows," said West. "She has no idea what hit her. She is justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. She deserves the apology more than anyone. Beyonce didn't need that. MTV didn't need that and Taylor and her family, friends and fans definitely didn't want or need that."

West still wasn't done there. He went on to explain that he is only human like everyone else and that everyone can make mistakes.

"I am not a bad person," said West. "Even in the moment I was only trying to do good but people don't always need my help. I've hurt.  I've bled. I've learned.

"I only want to do good. I want to win there hearts back so I can continue to bring my take on culture to the masses  with a clean opinion. It starts with this ... I'm sorry Taylor."

Swift has not yet responded to the apology yet on her own Twitter page but once she does ... or if she does, I will do an update.

The A-List Consultation:

Can anyone tell me why after a year Kanye is just now coming out and expressing his true guilt for the embracement he caused Taylor last year? I can; It's because this years VMAs are right around the corner and he knows he will be watched and judged to see what he will do next. With that much heat riding you would you have taken the same approach West did via his Twitter?
I think Kanye was being sincere in his apology. He touched base on everyone who deserved an apology but put greater detail on Taylors apology because well she deserves the apology more than anyone else. But Kanye made a huge mistake that is still costing him even today. Timeliness! Rule#1: Always approach an image issue immediately because the longer you wait the longer it will take to correct your image in the publics eye. Kanye failed at this. Yes he did apologize the very next day after he had made his mistake but it was not even close to the apology he "tweeted" this past Saturday. This is the exact reason why the public hasn't forgiven Kanye to easliy and the reason why a year later he is still working on his image and still apologizing to Taylor.
Kanye still has a lot more to do in order to mold his image back to the old Kanye we all use to know and to win back the hearts of the public. Atleast Kanye isn't as bad off as Chris Brown and still has the capablity to remold his image. I guess we will see if he can do it.
Kanye gets a B- on his approach to reshape his image. Remember time is money and for a star money is "Power". Remember to approach an issue immediately and to control the situation before it gets out of hand or before the media gets a hold of it and puts a "spin" on it to where it is almost impossible for you to beat because society tends to believe anything that is publish.
